If you love the famous Chick-fil-A dipping sauce as much as I do, you’re going to go bonkers for these amazing deviled eggs. They’re creamy, sweet, spicy, and salty with the satisfying crunch of savory bacon. The ultimate appetizer for your next party or family gathering!
These amazing deviled eggs were created by a trip out of town and several boiled eggs left over in our fridge. Leave it up to my husband to decide to do some experimenting with whatever sauces happened to be in the door of our fridge. As you’ve probably already figured out, the Chick-fil-A Sauce was the big winner! The only thing missing was a little salt and some heat. Something new had been born: Chick-fil-A Deviled Eggs with Sriracha. Wait a minute, should we add bacon?? I think you know the answer to that.
Ingredients
- 12 boiled eggs
- About 1/3 cup Chick-fil-A sauce (measure with your heart)
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- Sriracha to drizzle
- 3-4 strips cooked bacon (optional)
Don’t Make Your Eggs Ugly
If you want to make gorgeous looking deviled eggs, everything starts with the boiling process. The last thing you want are unappetizing eggs that rip apart while removing the shell. That would be a bummer.
The Best Way To Boil Eggs
- Bring a large pot of water to a full boil.
- Once the water is boiling, gently add your eggs (it helps if you have a silicone egg basket so that they can all be lowered at the same time, but not necessary).
- Simmer for 14 minutes on Low to Medium-Low depending on your stove. You basically just want very small bubbles during the entire cooking process.
- Remove and shock in an ice bath for about 15 minutes.
- To peel, gently tap one side to break the shell. Do not smash it all to hell and roll it around on the counter. That’s a good way to get broken shells smashed into the egg whites.
Now that you have the best boil eggs, let’s move on to this sweet and spicy deviled egg recipe! You won’t believe how fun and easy it is to make this impressive party food for your next gathering.
How To Make Awesome Chick-fil-A Sauce Deviled Eggs With Sriracha & Bacon
- Cut the boiled eggs in half lengthwise and place the egg yolks in a medium size bowl. Set the egg whites aside on a large cutting board.
- Mix the egg yolks with the salt and Chick-fil-A sauce. Start with about ⅓ cup of sauce and add more as desired. You can use a fork with a bit of elbow grease or an immersion blender to make it extra smooth.
- Evenly distribute the egg yolk mixture back into the egg white halves. Make it as pretty or as sloppy as you’d like! You can place it in a plastic baggie and cut one corner to pipe it in, or use a piping gun with a fancy tip attached to impress your party guests.
- Carefully drizzle the deviled eggs with Sriracha and then adorn with as much bacon as you’d like.
- Transfer to a serving dish and try not to eat them all before your shindig starts. Good luck!
If you’re looking for easy party appetizers to feed a crowd, you really can’t go wrong with deviled eggs. In my opinion, this recipe takes them to a whole new level! Plus, this tasty finger food is really easy to make ahead of time. The boiled eggs and bacon can be made the day before so that you only need a few minutes to prepare them once you’re ready to get down and party. Your friends and family will be begging you for the recipe!
Helpful Tips
- Every bottle of Sriracha sauce isn’t created equal. The sauce tends to come out pretty darn fast, so give it a squeeze and practice your drizzling for a second before getting too excited.
- The bacon is totally optional, but who are we kidding!?? Bacon makes everything better. You could also choose to make some of the eggs with bacon and some without for your vegetarian guests.
- I chose to slide a single chunk of hefty bacon onto the eggs once finished, but you could also crumble the bacon all over. Even lazier, try the store-bought bacon bits.
- What else could you add to this recipe? Nothing really, but if you’d like to add color to make them look frilly on your serving tray, maybe some chives, dill, or parsley? A little green is always a fresh addition.
