Don’t you just LOVE your crockpot? That beautiful slow cooking machine makes chicken and other meats so tender and delicious. It’s also kind of amazing to be able to just dump everything in there and forget about it for a few hours.
If you are a BBQ fan like me, then you are going to love this super flavorful pulled bbq chicken. It’s absolutely perfect for sandwiches but is also pretty tasty in a salad or on top of a potato. No matter how you decide to eat it, this zesty shredded chicken won’t disappoint!
Start off by placing 4-6 chicken breasts in your slow cooker.
Top with your favorite bbq sauce and Italian salad dressing.
Sprinkle in a little brown sugar and worcestershire sauce.
Cook on low for about 6-8 hours, or until the chicken shreds easily.
This heavenly chicken is zesty and sweet with just a touch of spice.

This easy slow cooker bbq pulled chicken recipe is a family favorite dinner recipe! Serve it on toasted buns with coleslaw, over nachos, on a salad or in a baked potato. It's made with simple ingredients you just throw in your crockpot: barbecue sauce, italian dressing, brown sugar and Worcestershire sauce. It's perfect for family meals, potlucks, game day and parties.

- slow cooker
Ingredients
- 4-6 chicken breasts (2-3 pounds)
- 1 (12oz) bottle BBQ sauce
- 3/4 cup italian dressing
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- sandwich buns
- coleslaw (I buy the prepackaged stuff)
Instructions
- Place everthing into your slow cooker (except for the sandwich buns and coleslaw) and cook on LOW for 6-8 hours or until the chicken shreds very easily.
- Shred the chicken and mix around in the sauce. Allow it to absorb the sauce for an additional 15+ minutes.
- Serve on toasted buns with coleslaw.
